We will admit that we have seen some pretty weird animals being called pets. So first and foremost before we talk about these weird pets that “don’t deserve” to be called pets.

According to an internet source, “a pet or companion animal is an animal kept primarily for a person’s company, protection, or entertainment rather than as a working animal, livestock, or laboratory animal.” A pet is more like a friend because it is meant to do is exactly what a friend is meant to do.

And last month we are thinking that people only eat weird things. But no! They also keep weird things that are supposed to be petted. Hedgehogs, those game lovers definitely know what we are talking about. Or even those people that really loved cartoons growing up.

Sonic the Hedgehog was a popular character back in the day. This creature has spikes that grow up to 0.75 inches, yes you heard that right. You are probably wondering why someone would keep such an animal, beats us too! Maybe it would be someone’s totem??

Some normal human beings cannot handle are farts. Believe us, those can get someone suffocating in seconds. And to think that some people actually go on to keep a Skunk, as a pet.

How can something with such a deadly smell like that keep you entertained? People really go all out with this whole getting a pet thing huh?

But, wait! To keep a skunk you simply have remove the sweat glands on the skunk and you are good to keep your companion.

Pigs are the most untidy animals there ever was. But some seem not to have that mindset; rather they love to be around pigs. No matter how much you might want to make sure that they are always bathed any chance they get to get messy they will do it.
