Samsung Galaxy F Pushed Back Again

Samsung’s 10th-anniversary Galaxy S10 is definitely looking very special. However, Samsung has been heavily promoting another game-changer that’s even more radical. Dishearteningly, a new report makes us believe that it is fast becoming vaporware.

Popular UK tech site, T3, revealed that Samsung’s folding Galaxy F smartphone “has been pushed back, yet again”.

This means that the mobile company won’t meet its plans to unveil the Galaxy F. The unveiling was scheduled for November at its San Francisco developer conference. DJ Koh, Samsung Mobile Division CEO, told CNBC last month that it was time to deliver. Considering that statement, this will be a bitter pill for him to swallow.

This development is the latest in a series of delays that the much speculated Galaxy F has suffered. Samsung promised back in 2017 that the smartphone would launch early this year. That was later changed to November 2018 and now it seems 2019 is the new target.

It seems the company’s own ambitions for the handset are shrinking. Supplier leaks revealed recently that mass production of this first generation model is highly unlikely now.

Is the Galaxy F vaporware?

Users doubts are increasing but maybe the Galaxy F is not vaporware. Back in August, DJ Koh said that launching the Galaxy F would deliver the world’s first title. He revealed that Samsung did not want to lose this title. That said we’re sure the expected asking price will be jaw-dropping. We’re also sure that it won’t be a mass market consumer device.

The Galaxy F represents the long-term future of smartphones. However, the Galaxy S10 is where your interest should be focused on. The 10th generation device will have an ’ultrasonic’ in-display reader and slimmer bezels. The Galaxy S10 also comes with gradient colours, triple rear cameras, and a 5G option.

Given that the Galaxy S10 will be launched in early 2019, it looks like it will beat the Galaxy F to the market. In the meantime, you can continue playing online casino games using the powerful Galaxy S10.
