In this life, there is nobody who wants to be a bad boss but instead is a great motivator to people who work for you. People get the title “boss” in different ways. Some people work up the leader to obtain it. Whilst some it is pure luck. Whilst with others they inherit it.

With all these scenarios most of the people that get this title do not undergo training to be a good boss. Entrepreneurs for starters are usually people that have come up with a product on the market. And want to push for their product to dominate and forget to be a team member to their workers.

But we will not crucify them for lack of experience with handling people. Everyone has their demons. What we will do is make sure that these demons do not destroy other people to a state that they become numb.

Set realistic goals

The first thing to do is to make sure that you set goals that can be met. Try out these goals yourself, and now you can encourage your team that if you can do it, it is possible for them to even do better. Experience is the greatest teacher. You can tell a child to not eat bananas when they always see you eating bananas.

A better way to put this is to be the example or what they say lead by example and let the team follow.  

Be a leader and not a dictator

Power has an effect of consuming people. Thus making people want to dictate. But do not demand respect but instead, lead and believe us people will obey and you won’t have to be mad because a certain thing was not done. Stop thinking that being a leader will make you weak. Dictate and get someone challenges you then now you would have embarrassed yourself.
