Australia’s People and Culture

What brings people of the same nationality together is the culture. Culture is one of the most important aspects of life. People are often told not to forget their culture and where they came from because it is important. This is what moulds people. In other words, how you grow up and your personality are somehow influenced by culture. Thus culture should always be at heart.

Aussie culture

Religion; Australia is a mainly Christian country, with a population of 64% being considered as Christians. There is really no official state religion. Which means it is a free country in terms of religion. You can practice whatever religion you want to practice as long as it is not against the law. Even for international students, they have the freedom to be associated with their own religion.

Language; there are over 70 languages in Aussie. Okay, so you might be thinking why does our country have so many languages when others have less than 10 languages? Well, Australia is a global village with a lot of cultures. People of different skin types and nations come to and settle there.

The main language is English but is definitely not the official language because of the above-stated reason. Australia is mainly known for swearing, what other nations consider as cursing to Australians this is the order of the day. Mandarin, Italian, Arabic, Cantonese, and Greek are some of the languages used in Aussie this is just an indication of the large scale of diversity in the country.

This is rather a good thing. No matter what type of person you are. Rest assured that when you visit Aussie you will never feel out place.
