Casino De Monte Carlo

This is in Monaco and stands as a symbol of sophistication and class. This casino is a favourite of many celebrities and the rich because of its lavish gaming halls. It was built back in 1856 and commissioned by Princess Caroline of the House of Grimaldi. She is the one who had the casino built in order to save her family from financial troubles. The casino has also been featured in 2 big movies: Ocean’s Twelve and Casino royale.

Built in 1856, the Casino de Monte Carlo inspired Ian Fleming’s Royale-Les-Eaux casino in his first Bond Novel, and also appeared in many films including the 2006 James Bond flick, Casino Royale and Ocean’s Twelve.

This casino is one of the World’s Oldest Casinos built in 1509, is very spacious and is home to many prominent people in the world. Inside the casino, you will see some amazing sculptures, opulent paintings, bright chandeliers and many feature paintings that make the whole place look absolutely amazing. One interesting fact is that, the casino holds one of the largest collections on Richard Wagner’s work. Thieves wearing hoodies attacked the casino back in 2010 and made away with over €100,000.

This casino is located in the Black Forest in South-western Germany. It features some attractive, luxurious gaming rooms. The casino also has banquets halls, a spa resort, some gardens, as well as a philharmonic orchestra. Back in the 1830s, France banned gambling. This saw a lot of European famous and rich people flocking here in order to play casino games. Interestingly, the novel The Gambler was inspired by this casino.
