General rules of the football game for beginners

Knowing the aim of the football game

The main aim of the football game is to score more goals than the other team. For your team to win your team should have more goals than the opposing team.

Know what you should have as your soccer kit

One should always have a full soccer kit that contains a jersey, (shooters) as footwear, stockings, and shorts. Football also uses a round ball.

The number of players

Football consist of two teams and each team should have a maximum of 11 players. Each of the players wears a jersey that has a number from one to ten and each of the numbers determines the player’s position.

How the game starts

The game starts with a coin toss game 5this This is to avoid the argument of who should start the game with the first kick-off and who is playing on which side. So the two captains from the two teams are going to the and the referee will toss the coin. The captains will have to play the game and the one who wins the coin toss game will have to choose the initial direction to play from and the other team starts with the ball. However, this setup changes after the halftime before the second half.

Minutes of the game

The game is played for ninety minutes.  The game is divided into two halves the first half and the second half. Each of these halves has 45 minutes. The break between the first half and the second half should not take more than fifteen minutes. The referee will be the one who controls the game.

What happens when one team scores

When one team scores the game then automatically starts off, the players will have to go back to their positions so that the game starts off.

Infringements

In football, the players must only use their heads, chests, and or legs to control the ball. Players must not use hands except for the keeper who must use hands to catch the ball so that it doesn’t score. Also, players must hold the ball and throw it in when the ball has gone outside the ground and it needs to be thrown back into the ground.
