In as much as parents do have responsibilities. Some of which include making sure that children are well fed and clothed. And basically just providing all the basic needs and also some extras that they want. But a little family time never killed anyone.

Go to your workplace

Children always love to see what their parents do or where they work. You might see it as something that is not really fun to do but believe us, the little ones love it. Give them a tour of your workplace and you might actually enjoy it because this will be the memories that you won’t be able to get rid of.

Make something together

Children love putting things together, solving problems and discovering how something works. Make fun things together especially fun things that they can play with later. You can even paint the house together; kids surely love doing grown-up jobs. And it a great way to have some quality family time.

Go watch a game together

Probably you go and watch their games at school. But it is not the same as watching a game together. This is a great activity you can really do together even with the grown kids. In a previous article, we talked about how sport brings people together. So go ahead and try it out.

Nothing spells out family time like a family challenge. Playing games and having fun can also be educational. Have a mini-challenge, it will make them want to be more competitive with others. And when they win they will know that there is what is called the first place. But losing is not that bad as you are preparing them for the future. As the adults of tomorrow, they need to be strong enough to face disappointment.
