COVID-19 and Normal Influenza: The Difference between the Two

COVID-19 and Normal Influenza can be easily confused. During these hard times of COVID-19, people are scared of normal influenza. It is hard to distinguish between the symptoms of influenza, allergies and COVID-19.

COVID-19 and Normal Influenza Symptoms

Covid-19 is a virus which is affecting the respiratory system. The symptoms of corona virus include shortness of breath, runny nose, dry throat, diarrhea, joint pains and fatigue. However, even though these may seem like common symptoms of allergies they differ in that it is rare for one to have all these symptoms when they have an allergy.

When one has allergies such as asthma they have difficulties in breathing and some people who are allergic to dust and other things may experience sneezing but no one allergy can have all the symptoms.

These symptoms are very much similar to Covid-19 but one can tell whether it is Covid-19 or not. This is so because the symptoms of Corona virus weakens one’s system as a whole especially the respiratory system. Corona virus also causes one to have serious difficulties in breathing which maybe different as compared to asthma which has a cure when that happens.

However there is one specific symptom which is fever. Fever is very difficult as one can have a high fever in situations of having malaria or any serious illness however the Covid-19 fever cannot be suppressed like the other types of fever.

In conclusion Covid-19 and normal influenza have similar common symptoms. However the only difference is how one shows or develops the symptoms and also how long these symptoms persist.

When one is also having these symptoms one must get medicine from the pharmacy or call a doctor and always wear a mask when going out. The above are just common symptoms and we advise punters to visit the Doctor when not feeling well
