Westlife Reunites for New Music, Tour

Westlife is back six years after they called it quits. However, original band mate Brian McFadden, will not be joining the group. The Herald revealed that Westlife will play at Croke Park next year, most likely in July. Westlife announced their reunion online following speculation they were returning.

The band’s website was quickly updated, sharing the same video. The news of the group’s reunion immediately went viral. Thousands of their fans shared their delight on all social media platforms.

Tour Schedule?

An insider confirmed that Westlife will play at Croke Park in July next year. West life is said to have already begun recording new music. It’s reported that they have enlisted Ed Sheeran to write songs for them.

Westlife has millions of fans all over the world.  As a result, it was a no brainer that the boys would get back together one day. The group has kept quiet on the speculation for the past few days. They finally decided that now was the right time for fans to know they are coming back.

Nicky Byrne hosts a morning radio show on 2 FM at the moment. An RTE spokesperson said that the station is working on his schedule. The station will, in due course, announce whether he’ll remain on his radio show during the band’s tour.

Westlife Biography

Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group formed in 1998 in Dublin, Ireland. The boy band disbanded in 2012, later on reuniting in 2018. The group was originally signed by Simon Cowell in UK. Clive Davis of the United States later signed them and they were managed by Louis Walsh and Sonny Takhar. The group’s original line-up consisted of Mark Feehily, Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, and Brian McFadden.

The Missing Band Member

Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Mark Feehily will all return. Brian McFadden quit the group in 2004 and will not be part of the reunion.
