The cards that a player gets depends on the number of players that will be playing the game.  For example, if there are five players, each player gets six cards. If there are more than six players, each player gets seven cards.

There should be a designated dealer who will deal the cards. The dealer will place the remainder of the cards at the centre of the table.

The dealer then has to turn the card that is on top such that it will face up. After that, the player that sits at the left of the dealer takes a card first. Players will take the cards from the cards that the dealer place at the table.

The first player then matches the cards that he or she has, if they fail, they discard one card. There will be two piles of cards those that players discard and those that are already on the table as stock.

The next player will also choose a card from the stock or the discard pile and try to match the cards and if they fail, they would have to discard a card. This process will continue until everyone has taken a card.

If the stockpile finishes, the dealer will have to shuffle the discarded cards and place them back on the table, they become stuck.

When a player has made runs and matches all his or her cards except one, he or she tells others that he or she has one card left and shows the cards that are matching and discard his or her final card.

After a winner is declared, all other players will total their cards and if it is a tournament, the player with the highest number will be eliminated.
