Waiting Your Turn  is of the  important Poker Manners

This might seem simple but most Poker beginners do not really know this and they tend to act  out of turn.

Do not try to tip the other players on your table as this might irritate them. Wait your turn and make your own decisions.

Pay Attention for You to Make Immediate Decisions

You don’t want to take a long time while staring into space when it is your turn.  You also do not want to wonder what just happened when another player  has just made a move. Asking other players what happened when you were not paying attention may be annoying to them.

Do Not Throw Your Chips Into the Pot

Throwing your chip into the pot is considered to be rude. Do not do this even if you have seen it in a movie, it is not cool at all.

Throwing makes it hard for the dealer as well as the winner to collect chips.  If you throw chips you may be wrongly labelled as a cheater because people who throw chips sometimes intend to cheat.

If you throw the chis, it will be hard to determine what you have bet.

Do Not Engage String Betting

String betting is making a series of bets instead of betting at once.  String betting may throw other players off.  It slows the game as other players will keep wanting to make decisions when you continually bet.

Respect Other Players

It is unprofessional to talk trash during a Poker game. Talk to other players with respect  when you are at a Poker table.  If you do not treat people with respect they may not want to play with you next time.
