Some shops now have empty shelves due to the fear of the virus. Supermarkets are now limiting some foodstuffs that include rice and pasta.

The level panic buying that has hit the country has never happened in the Australia’s history.

There have been fights over toilet paper and long queues with people waiting to get in supermarkets in order to buy food.
