In every field of work, there is a certain way they talk. Or certain terms that they use. Terms that are popular with people in that field only. This also applies with betting and it good that you know what some of these words mean.

Bankroll

When we are talking about bankroll we are talking about the money that the gambler puts aside to use to place bets. This might be a shock to most because when you mention gamblers this is what people see. They see a person who sells everything they have to gamble. But that is not it, gamblers are organized and plan, before they start betting.

Croupier

Croupier is one of the most common terms in gambling. And these are persons that will be in charge of games. These are people that you supposed to listen to in the casino because it is important to take instructions from them.

Dealer

People often confuse croupier and dealer. It is hard to separate the two but they are kind of different. A dealer deals with card games in the casino. And sees that the game flows well in the casino. As you can see it is hard to separate the two as they seem to almost sound like the same thing.

Deuce

This is slang that means two. It is mostly used in cards or the dice. For the video poker lovers you can relate to the game Deuces Wild and this can totally be relatable.
