Double Attack Blackjack- How to Play It

Double Attack Blackjack is a Blackjack variant that is very similar to Spanish 21.  In this version all 10s are removed from the deck.

The game is spread with 8 or 6 decks. The decks have 48 cards each due to the removed. There are some unusual rules because of the removal of the 10s. Most of the rules are however friendly.

How Double Attack Blackjack is different from Traditional Blackjack

There are numerous differences between the Double Attack Blackjack and traditional Blackjack. one of them is the fact that Double Attack uses 48 cards because of the remove 10s.

Another difference is that a player may make a new bet up to double the original wager after the dealer exposes his door card.

This is the reason why it is called Double Attack Blackjack.

Another difference is Bushtit side bet which pays when the dealer busts on three cards.

Players might double down or surrender at any time.

Players may surrender at any time in the hand. Split aces only one card and the dealer stands on all 17s.

How to Play Double Attack Blackjack

Firstly, you make a wager.  You can place your bet in the main betting circle in front of you.

You should also place a bet at this point if you want to play the optional Bustiit side bet.

The wager will then payoff if the dealer busts on three cards.

After players place bets, the dealer will then give one card face up to each player and the house.

Players will now raise the original bet up to double the amount.  The wager must now be doubled again in case of a spit.

A double down does not have to be precisely double.

It cannot be more than double the original stake, however, it can be less.

The bet goes in the box net to the original wager.  After placing bets, the players will receive another card face up.  The dealer will get one face down.

If the dealer shows an ace, insurance is offered and if shows Blackjack, this will pay 5-2.
