Pass and Come Craps Strategies

You will get a good start at the pass line because of the low house edge, the pass line has a house edge of 1.41 per cent.

The house edge keeps decreasing each time you pass the bet and wager on odds.  On the pass- plus –odds combination, the house edge decreases to 0.8 per cent with single odds, 0.6 per cent with 2x odds.

Come plus odds are 1.4 at first then the edge on the combo declines as the odds Bet rises. The number of times you should bet on odds depends on your bankroll.

Don’t Pass and Don’t come while laying odds

This is the opposite of don’t pass and don’t come strategy. The house edge is 1.36 per cent which is a little better than pass or come’s 1.4 per cent. The edge decreases to 1.7 per cent when laying the odds.

The objective is to put a big percentage on your bet onto the odds as possible.  The odds have no casino advantage.

Placing 6 and 8

In this strategy, you get to pick your own numbers instead of waiting for the shooter to establish a point.

Besides 7, 6 and 8 are the most commonly rolled numbers. The house edge is 1.52 per cent if you place 6 and 8.  Make sure to you Bet multiples of $6 if you place 6 and 8.

Pass with odds, plus place 6 and or 8

Players who want to take advantage of free odds use this strategy.  Start with a pass line bet at the table minimum. Back pass with free odds when a point is established. Place Bet on the other number if the point is 6 or 8.
