Many people are too nervous to visit the casinos because they do not know the basic casino rules. Well, that’s not a problem, when you get to the casino for the first time, the dealers must give you a tour at the casino. Also, they will explain to you the general casino rules and what each player must do.  As time goes on you will know other rules that are expected in the casino. Let’s have a tour of some of the general casino rules that you need to master before you visit the casino.

Basic casino rules

You should never sit at the table unless you are playing

 If your turn to gamble has not arrived yet, you should never sit at the table. Also if you are waiting for a friend who is playing, you must not sit at the table as well. Tables are for the people who will be playing at that moment. No one else who is not playing will be on the table. Also if you are playing the game, you should wait until the table is fully set for the next game. Give the dealer the chance to finish setting the table and then you sit afterwards.

Never touch the bet when you have already placed it

 Once you have already placed the bet you should never touch it, because it will be the responsibility of the dealer, not yours. Also when the game starts you must touch the cards with one hand only.  If you are seen touching the cards with two hands the dealer will think that you want to cheat and you will be disqualified from the game.

You should not take your payouts until the dealer  has pushed them to you

 Before you get your winnings the dealer has to verify that the money is enough and you did not get extra payment. The dealer will count the money in front of you and when they are done verifying the money, they will push the money to you. After that, you will have to collect the money only.

 In conclusion, one should go to the casino with the knowledge of at least two basic casino rules or more. This is to make sure that you won’t get harassed for things that you had no idea of.
